Türkiye has unveiled a three-year economic roadmap designed to expand domestic production, reduce dependence on imported strategic goods and attract investment into high-technology industries.
The Medium-Term Programme for 2027–2029 sets out targeted industrial policies, project-based incentives and financing mechanisms for companies producing critical components and technologies.
Under the plan, the HIT-30 high-technology investment programme will support large projects in priority sectors, while credit linked to investment commitments will aim to increase productive capacity and exports.
Government assistance is expected to place greater emphasis on measurable results, including energy efficiency, employment creation, research and development, and additional export earnings.
The roadmap also connects agricultural and industrial development by encouraging investment that converts farming by-products into marketable goods and creates jobs outside Türkiye’s largest cities.
Officials say the broader objective is to improve competitiveness, strengthen supply security and move Turkish production toward higher-value segments of global markets.
